it's best if you fly cut the pistons, spining the motor to 7k+ specially on an old engine like yours isnt smart. your rod bolts begin to stretch with all the rotational force being applied to them. my friend has valve impressions on his piston tops from spinning so high with the ms4, not flycutted. i had the cam too, got boring, that's why he had it, he got bored of it, and now his friend has it....we'll see how long he has it.

you dont need a donkey dick cam to make good power. you have a 99 so you have the 853 heads and the ls1 intake i'm assuming. you put that big of a cam in there your upper end is going to be your restriction. also didnt catch if you were M6 or A4, remember the rest of your drivetrain has to match up with the cam in order for it to all click together.

My car has a ms4 cam in it..It does have hardend pushrods and springs. Look at the mods in my sig thought. I promise if you plan to upgrade your car furhter you will love it..and as far as street goes yeah is'ts kinda of annoyings sometimes witht that big of a cam just daily driving it. But look at my mods in the sig...i can beat a stock cobra pretty good...on with a pully and tune and exhaust...egh...but its a drivers race. I will be posting pics and videos later of my car...The single chambers i have on my trual duals are right under the back seat..i love the sound...ill post it later tongith when i get home from work.

Default ms4

I have the ms4, PRC stage 1 heads, and the 7.4 hardened pushrods. I had over 98,000 on my car when i did the swap. Daily drove it for 2 years and have never had an issue. You do not need to fly cut the pistons. It made 430hp and 390tq, through ls6 intake, pacesetter long tubes, gmmg, and boltons.
