853 and 241???
853 and 241??? What is the dif between the 853 and 241 heads? Which is better?? I'm lookin at either stock 241 heads with upgraded springs, and ported 853 heads... Which would be better.. I already have the cam, so I need heads, just dunno what to get..

241's have a better casting design so they are a little smoother on the inside than the earlier 853's. After porting though 853's and 241's will yield roughly same results. you probably want the 243's.

Verdad Gallardo But are the 243's better than the ported 853's..... Its a budget build, and the ported 853's are cheaper, and i am planning on assembling soon... So the less work the better....
The guy said the 853's flow roughly 300 cfm at .600 lift .. And my cam is 581... So it wold already have the springs I need... I guess.. they have also been milled down to 59cc chambers.... Like I said, cheaper, already modded, but I dunno......
