Elec. cutout OR cat-back
This will be my next mod. One or the other. I was thinking I should get a electric cutout first before the catback. And just do the cat-back later on. Or should I just go ahead and get a cat-back(it will most likely be hooker). The sound of my stock exhaust is fine for now, it's not loud but it works for me. So what do you guys think I should do first? The only other real mod I have done is TSP clear lid and Holley filter. I have done all the free mods already. And if I should get the cut-out first, where would be the best place to put it? TIA!

If you like your current sound, then there is no need for a catback other than appearance. But, you could always just change the tips out to do that.
The cutout will outperform any available catback, and its nice to be able to close up when you don't need it. Electric cutouts like the QTEC are the sweetest setup though.

my vote would be for the cutout. it's nice and stealthy when it's closed. also, like what was said before, the cutout will out flow any available cat back system

cut out. Like mentioned before, it will outflow any catback system, and you're only going to spend $200 dollars as opposed to $500. I can think of a lot of other mods I could do with that $300 that's left over (perhaps a used nitrous kit)

No doubt, cuttout.
"If you weld in the cutout, it might just be removed when you change the cat-back"
What? If you do add a cat-back later on down the road, you can swap the cuttout to the new cat-back. Just cut it and reweld it. No big deal. Or, buy a new $30 cuttout and swap it to the new cat-back if you're that picky. The electric valve is just held on by three nuts.

cut out gooood nos baaaaad!
i suppose if you find the right shop they will do it for you.. the hardest part of the cut out would be the "plumbing" nothing more anoying than an exaust leak near the y pipe.... switches arnt that bad and once you get the hang of em you can hide them just about any where.
