Default Which knock senors? Where to get them?

My 98 seems to be pulling anywhere from 2-5 degrees. I figured ill switch out the sensors. Where can I get the sensors and the harness? Has anyone seen improvement after doing the swap?

my 99 is dooing the same IMO it is normal with the 98 99 00 f-bodys the cam from factory flooded with advanced spark.

copy an advanced spark from a 2002 f-body to ur high octane spark advanced and ull be fine.

thats what i do with the ones i tune.

Pulling timing means they're working. I'd look for why they're pulling timing.
If you change them out get all the parts from a dealer, genuine GM parts.

There were 2 different knock sensors used in '98 F-Bodies. One style had like a water bottle nipple connector, and the other was a clip style. There's no way to know which sensors you have until you pull your old ones out.

You have 2 options: Pull your sensors first and then go order the correct ones. Order both sets of sensors and make sure your dealer will take the unused set back (which is doubtful if it's a special ordered part that they don't stock).

I had the dreaded 3.9 degrees of KR at WOT and new sensors seems to have solved my problem. I've got the water bottle nipple sensors BTW.
