Mac Midtube Headers?
of " bigger is better " mentallity. If you plan on FI or big cubes, or big heads/cam then
LT's are a better choice. I used FLP headers which aren't as long as other LT's and they
are great. Awesome mid-range and still had strong low end and top end as well.
I'm ready to start modding my car and i looked into Mac's but i want stainless so it's
back to FLP/Dynatech headers for me....just my $0.02

Also if you take the macs and port the primaries and have a good y pipe made that gets rid of the ball flanges and junk collector i would expect them to be even closer to longtubes.
Another thing to consider is that the car as running a little richer with the lt's.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
LOL 4 Hp on that car with alot of mod's I would bet money you cant tell the diff.

I ran the same times with my 216/220 cam and FLP's which aren't really
a long tube. But JS in this site run 11.3's with Mac's and a TR224. So don't
be discuraged about Mac's. They run very well. I never own them but i liked
how the car ran in my buddies car. Usual smaller heads and cam will
benefit from LT's but you have to decide if the difference is worth it.
