Mac Midtube Headers?
I decided on the mid length headers because of speed bumps I have to drive over everyday. Plus, other things scrape on my car, which is not lowered. There are a lot of fitment issues with long tubes (grinding K-members, massaging tubes......) These Bassanis fit like they are supposed to be on the car.
I ever buy LT's again Im definately going with a stainless steel piece. The ceramic coating of the LT's started turning to rust underneath due to driving in the rain, snow, etc. Now that I have a garage, the SS will never see snow. I've went the fastest in the 1/4mile with LT's and minimal bolt ons.

I agree with you...from what i personally experienced i didn't see a big
difference from mac's to any long tube including hooker.
Mac...but then you have to be concerned about the larger 3" y-pipe from
hitting the floor boards and watch out for speed bumps. In my opinion huge LT's
and huge y-pipes are really unnecessary for smaller heads and cam. Not for nothing but i
loved my old FLP's...even MTI in Houston ran them on a 455 cubic inch motor and the only
mod they made to the FLP's y-pipe was a flowmaster merge. If the Mac's were stainless i'd jump all over them.
