Wrapping Shorties. I have read a lot about wraps destroying headers and premature rusting.
I want to wrap my BBK's. They are chrome and are very thick and
I feel they are producing tons of heat.
I'm sure the stock headers didn't produce as much because of there metal shield and double liner.
I don't think I'll run into any of the above problems that have so called happened because the shorties heat up fast and here where I am very little rain.
What do you think ?

My temps are still good.
I had SLP ceramic LT's on before and I thought the temps were lower than these BBK's. I know the ceramics cooled down faster.
Im just thinking the headers are producing heat and causing some heat issues with my spark plug wires. Im getting some strange exhaust popping when it changes from 1 to 2nd.
