Default Man how much a cracked y-pipe hurts!!!!

About 2 weeks ago i got under my car because i knew i had a exhaust leak and i thought it was just one of my band camps. Well it turned out my y-pipe was cracked. Well i lost around 8mpg on my last take too and it wasnt running as good. I had my y-pipe welded up and put it back on my car and man its feels like a new car. So much more low end torque. LOL just letting off the clutch taking off easy it's trying to spin the tires . The last tank of has it would dead hook from a roll not anymore So every make sure you fix those leaks. Here is a b4 pic ofthe Y. I drove on a whole tank of gas like this and only got 190miles on the tank!!!

see for a while i thought i noticed my car sounded a little louder under my center console area i just thought maybe with the car being lowerd now and the exhaust closer to the ground it made it sound different LOL

Its amazing what an exhaust leak can do!! I had a pin hole leak right next to my O2 bung and i could not pass smog for nothing. And the car ran even better after i fixed the leak. So i can relate to what you had going for you.

Great job on the fix.
