thinking about fast 90/90
car is 2000 z28 full bolt ons ls6 heads, 224 cam, 3.73 and vig. 3600
i can fell the car dip off power wise at the end of the 1/4. i trap at about 6300 rpms. so i am looking to improve my top end poer.
I have seen a few web searches on people with heads and cam switch from the ls6 manifold to a fast 90/90 and gain 30-40 hp. no lose of lower power and gains begin at 3,000rpm.
So should i get it? will it prove good gains for me as well? 20 hp would be nice. I want the car to run consistent low 11's 11.0-11.4 range would be nice.
I plan on fast 90/90 (if i find that people are gaining 20+hp) elec. water pump, and another 30lbs off the car.
So if anyone has a before/after ls6/ fast90 dyno let me know the gains before i spend $1,000
now the new best is 11.61 with stock ls6 head, 224 cam and 3600 stall.
Kinda thought it would have gained more top end. maybe the cam is just to small.
