Default Merge Collectors?

The shop I had install my headers welded the Y to the header collectors. I have to take them apart and I was going to replace the collectors with a high flow/ velocity collector any imput on what type or manufacturer to go with so far I was looking at hooker and edelbrock (sp).

Thanks Eric

I am not sure you will see the power gains with this to justify the money spent.

For your power level, there's more power to be made elsewhere for the same $.

Well I have to replace the collectors anyways bc there going to be fubar'd trying to get the current setup apart. I have a few things going in thats why I have to take them apart.

Any way the prices I was looking at are 200 for the pair. Thanks for your inputs.

Just a suggestion but why not cut the Y and band clamp or flange it back together instead of completely destroying your headers?? Only curious

At the 400 wheel level, you will see 8-12 rwhp with a true, burns/SPD merge collector with proper choke and diverging angles.
