Question about mods to a car. If you get a ported throttle body or cold air intake, anything that adds air to your engine, shouldn't you get the car dyno tuned, so it will run with the correct air/fuel ratio?
i had to get a dyno tune for camaro after i put a fast 90 mm tb and a weiand intake manifold. my car ran lean as **** after i did that but was soon corrected with the tune
something as small as a P&P TB or CAI you will not need to get a tune. The PCM is smart to an extent. The PCM will add more Air or Fuel where it is needed. Like i said it learns on its own to an extent.
The best thing to do when doing mods, disconnect the negative terminal on the battery, hook it back up when your done then let the car idle for like 15 mins to learn a little then take it for a cruise so that it learns more.. And it will learn fuel trims too

But if you have a cam, or jsut installed a new FAST or even LS6 intake and you jsut put on new injectors. Yes you will need to take the car to get a tune.
