O2 Extension Question?!?!?

I really don't feel like waiting another week without driving my car and all i need now is two 02 extension for my longtube headers

My question is....Could you just cut the 02 sensor wire in between the plug and the actual sensor somewhere on those wires and just add some of the same gauge wire as the sensor to lengthen it or will that cause it to go haywire or something crazy?

the reason i ask is i just dont want to have to wait another whole week or so for shipping

it would work good for u...
but thats wasn`t what chosed to do

get urself o2 Extension the are like 33$ for pair from ebay

Don't they come with LT's when you buy them? I was going to get a pair of ARH's and I thought they came with.

COJO, it might work in a pinch. I'd only do it if I absolutely had to use my car.

toothdoc, ARHs come with extensions (2 x 24").
