Looking at refinancing my house to obtain this mythical piece and wanted to know how to tell if I have a good one. Is there any difference between the ones that came on the cars from SLP new versus those that purchased them after??? Are there differences in the support piece between the tips??? What ar ethey made out of??? And finally, what should I expect to pay for each piece seperate( tip and valance) and what kind of condition is acceptable that can be refurbished to look like new.

seems like an ill time to refinance a house for car mods...but, the real slp tips have a rolled lip that is thicker than the offbrand tips that i've seen. Also 6litereater is a sponsor now selling both the valance and the tips, might want to check that option out.
