Default Motor Mounts

Should I replace the motor mounts when I have my ARH 1 7/8 headers and catted-Y installed? If so, should I just put stock ones back in or should I put the poly ones in? What are the advantages of the polys over stock and what are the disadvantages? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

Do the poly motor mounts! Its alot easier to do them with the exhaust off.
Advantage is the motor doesn't rock as much when you stomp on the gas which means the y-pipe doesn't bang against the floor bloard.
Disadvantage is that the can be a little PITA to install but well worth it.
Don't do the poly trans mount tho or your car will vibrate something awful.

You guys have convinced me. The poly motor mounts were ordered this morning. It will be easy to do, as I am installing a new engine.

are you just saying it will vibrate w/ a poly trans mount because you know or because you read that somewhere? im pissed i waited 3 weeks after my LT and poly motor mount install to get a poly trans mount. that was the final touch to a bad *** upgrade. i get no vibrations at all and drive it on the highway 300 miles every week end. best of all my shifter doesnt wanna come outta the console and try to punch me in the face.
