i used a piece of 1/8 sheet metal with 2 pieces of 4" exhaust pipe welded to it. i've seen people use a thin cutting board and some pcv pipe epoxied to it

i've driven this setup year round for the last 2 years with no issues. after 2 hours at highway speeds in the pouring rain my filter was dry. i don't even check anymore

cool man. where'd you get the flex tubing? now all i have to do is sell my fipk for a lid.
