Don't have it but have seen it done....cheaper way of accomplishing what the Billet ones do....obviously it not as nice as a Billet can but very functional.

Sorry, another question. Would it be a good idea to put a small one between the valve cover and the TB also? I found all kinds of stuff about the husky but not about the valve cover to TB line.

One more lol. If people are pulling the filter out of the Huskey's wouldn't it be the same thing as the ebay ones that are just a can? I ask because the ebay ones look better for near the same price.

if money is tight....just save and go with a proven design from a sponsor. i bought a couple of the ebay ones and all they would catch is water condensation. my intake was fillthy. i even modded them to incorporate some features of the higher price ones but it didnt help.

i now have a rev extreme can with 100 miles on a new built motor with clean hoses and still clean intake. time will tell the whole truth but at least now i feel confident this will work.

Some people have the problem where oil is being pushed from the valve cover through to the TB; mostly in sustained high rpm applications, like road racing.

Here is a good choice for those who want to cover that:

If you're not racing at a track that checks why even use a catch can..just throw a filter on it and vent that **** into the air and plug up your intake tract with rubber hose ends.

?is there something I'm missing?

I always thought that that is a bad idea. My plans are to run a ctach can for the line witht the pcv valve in it and to run one of the small Husky filters inline from the valve cover to throttle body.

Yes. If you do that all that you are accomplishing is relieving excess crankcase pressure. All the nasty combustion by-products, moisture, unburnt fuel, etc is still left to accumulate in the crankcase and lead to engine damage after time. A proper crank case ventallation system draws, or flushes the crankcase of these harmful products so your engine can live.
