2002nhraformula - After listening to your clip a few times:

1.) doesn't sound like a stroker.

2.)doesn't sound like my Cam - Ever - even with the initial, pitiful tune.

3.) I don't think you can tune out the acoustics/harmonics of a narrow LSA.

4.) Idle sounds too slow/low. Grand AM won't idle much below 1200 RPM.

5.) Are you sure to posted the correct link??

Anxiously awaiting your reply

Actually this is close to the route I'm about to take in my a4. High duration lower lift. Not sure how any of the specs will be but it should be fun. Also alot easier on the drivetrain.

well i have more lift then you also i have a idle of 950 out of my car with the a4 and it does not stall no loading up no nothing and it idles with a 14.7a/f
my car might sound different because of the 1.8 rockers and the mono exhaust lets here your sound clip

I'll get it over the weekend. Damn, now I have to buy the digital video cam I wanted.

Where can I have it hosted???

Who tuned yours? There is no way mine will idle below 1100.

With 1.8 rockers you must have hellacious notches, not to mention the effective Int./Exh Duration and Narrowed LSA!

[QUOTE=2002nhraformula.... lets here your sound clip

Here it is and it sounds totally different than what you put up.
I start about 15 feet behind the car and walk around to the side so there isn't so much resonance from the Borlas.

Mods: LGM original Longtubes. X pipe, Borla Stingers.

Grand Am cam 239/251,106, 0.570". Straight up.

GMMP/LPE cnc LS6 heads.

42# GM-Bosch injectors.

That really isn't that LOPEY considering. What is the idle at?

My brothers old 240/246 110lsa in a carb'd car hit much harder than that idling about 1000. The miracles of computer tuning.

Peace,

GM also uses their LS6/Z06 springs on this cam. They are damn good springs.
