i have a 2000 ss. Check engine light came on. the car was running about 200-210 degrees and only running for about 15 minutes. i dont think this is normal. kind of worried bc i only had the car for 3 weeks. what should i do?

just got home from autozone. i have a blown cat. how much should it be to fix a cat? i was wondering if a catted y pipe will bolt up to stock exhaust manifolds? if not i mite be looking at some headers and a catted y pipe
What's the number of that code? Every time a code says "catalyst" or anything similar, they'll tell you it's a bad catalytic converter. MANY times though it is not. Get the code NUMBER and we can help
