na its a gain of like 10hp, so its not show, and dude hp doesnt mean ****, its about what your car does at the track, a stall is gonna make you lose hp,or keep it the same, but it doesnt matter.it will make your car a lot faster on the track if that makes any sense??

the lid is not just for show and it is cheap. A stall will be the best thing right now but the lid is so cheap get one. You could get one used for $50

Call PTC in the morning, tell them what you have and let them build you a converter. I paid somewhere around $475.00 for mine and it works great. My car has been a best of 11.30 @ 120mph with a 1.54 60ft on a stock bottom end H/C/I full weight Z28 Camaro.. 3600lb car with me in it..
Heres the link:

used: lid, cam and springs, headers, stall. All of them would be enough to get you into the 11's

i really dont mean to be rude but spend some time reading on this site. And fyi i bought a set up pacesetter headers off of ebay from a supplier for 379.99. Then the y pipe was $100. The ypipe will match up to your cat back. It will really wake your car up. And when you get a tune it will make it feel like a monster. For about a week then you will want more lol

you can get quite a bit done for $500 if you spend money wisely and find good deals.

so far i've done:
-free mods
-catback
-lid
-swaybar
-springs/shocks

and i haven't broken $400 yet

Cheapest horsepower comes in a bottle.

How else can you add 75, 150, 200, 250, 300 and more HP to your motor for under $1000 (done properly with supporting accessories).

Nitrous is what you need if you dont want exhaust. But still, 500$ is short to cover a good/safe/complete kit.

Here is what it looks like stock and then what it looks like with a lid. You did rid of all that baffling and the intake lid is alot smoother. Less restriction = more Hp.
I would do a
aftermarket lid used in classifeds
Ported tb
all the free mods
Pacesetter headers and ORY (could be used)
That will get a little over $500 but it will really wake that car up.
OR
If you want better track time tho you must go with a stall, and some 3.73 gears.

nitrous is very safe if tuned right. easiest and cheapest hp.

there are kits that are less than 500 but the problem is they are limited to how much u can spray, so if you decided in the future you ever wanted to spray your more you have to re-buy another kit and basically start over. do it right the first time and get a nice kit. id advise a plate kit but thats me
