Default Super Victor Intake???

I may be backwards on this but ive shopping for a super victor and it looks like the one for a carb is higher than the efi one... You would think it would be the other way around WTF is up with that? The 28097 for a carb is $529 and the 28095 for EFI is only $379... Did i read it wrong, misprint? I may buy the EFI one and plug the bosses..

the super victor is carb only and has an outrageous price of 544 bucks from summit.
if you make over 600 REAL hp, then it might pick up some in the upper RPMS, but youd have to be spinning it over 7500, IMO.
if you go with a vic jr.... it will have to be ported. your head will outflow it.

even a pontiac super vic isnt that much! hahah.
its insane how it can cost 250-300 more. im sure a lot of that price is in development and tooling. price will come down over time, but not in time for me or you.
id like to try one myself, but its not cost effective. ill just spray another 25 shot. haha.
sounds like you got a beast on your hands.

Wrong..

Super Vic comes either for a carb or EFI. I have an EFI version. From what I understand the carb and EFI plenums are slightly different. Edelbrock does not recomend using a carb one for EFI vise versa.

This is correct. Also the Super Vir is taller than the Vic junior with longer runners.

I'm currently plannin on running the Vic Jr. with elbow & 90mm TB. Can anyone tell me what injectors they would suggest? I know a set of green top 48lb injectors would cover me on a 408 w/200 shot of juice but I don't know if those will work with the Edlebrock rails since they say they require Bosch injectors.

Does anyone know if the o-ring outside diameter is the same on Bosch injectors as it is on the green tops??

I have since switch N20 plates. The 4500 plate was spraying N20 into the adapter and it wasn't coming out even out of the ports. So I went back to a 4150.

I have some pics of a Super Vic next to a Vic JR as well as pics showing the difference on the intake port openings. I'll put them up in a few.

My intake looks exactly the same (just the victor jr) with unported stock heads. The ports seem to be slightly 'off'.
