Front cover grindage on slp pump,double chain combo..

Default Front cover grindage on slp pump,double chain combo..

Grinding front cover is only necessary so you can put the front cover flush on the block correct.Mine seems to hit slightly with no gasket but seems fine with the gasket.

How many of you guys actually ground your cover. It also seems to be hitting over a bit on right side.But have seen pics and their instructions say area around seal?

So did most of you guys do anything and also heard some guys just used lower profile bolts?

I think most guys grind a little bit....should be easy w/ a dremel and sanding bit.

I had to gring a little here and there in different spots. I just slid the cover on, pushed against it with one hand, and move it up and down with the other... that made some rub marks inside the cover and let me know where to grind. Good Luck!
