Boost Ready 347 Short Block?
I am trying to plan a boosted setup for my car next year. How much could I expect to pay for a well built, boost ready short block (stock cubes)?
I am looking at the KYTP turbo setup, I would probably be running 13-14lbs of boost.

It might be, I delt with jayson on this deal and he spoke very highly of their builder. Don't quote me but i thought he said something about their machine shop is the one that builds the c5r for the 24 hour Le Mans corvette. When i told them my goal of 12 pound of boost and 600rwhp i was told this engine will handle that all day and then some. I'm at 540 now and twin fuel pumps and a re dyno in the next month, hoping to get my goal of 600 at the wheels.

-LS1 block
-Stock LS1 Crank
-6.125 rods
-Mahle -15cc dished pistons
-.052 MLS head gaskets.
Stock 62cc heads yeild roughly a 8.8:1 compression engine.
I have built a few engines with above specs and ran them anywhere from 7lbs to 17lbs of boost and anywhere from 530rwhp to 760rwhp.
If you have a solid stock bore block you can build the above shortblock for around $1500 with ARP main and head studs.
Cheap, reliable, and alot better than stock.

My personal car used our off the shelf short-block components & supported 900rwhp in a automatic. A simple 347 costs right around 3000, and you can receive a healthy credit by sending in a core block & crankshaft! We stock approximately 40 motors at any one time, so odds are good we have several boost motors in stock! Give me a call if you want to discuss our short-blocks & what makes our combos different from competitors....
