yes an no.. depends on the cam.. if you have a huge cam in an auto, even with a stall and gears to go with it, you still would want that extra little bit off of the line... if you have a small cam in an auto, you arent really gonna benefit from the ls6 heads little bit of extra flow, but dont really need the extra little bit down low... just depends on the entire setup, its not just you should go with this, or that because of this, every setup is different..

but like ive said, there is soooooo little itty bitty difference in these sets of heads that yes, you may see a difference on the dyno by 5 more hp or 5 more tq, but you wont see it at the track.. only reason to go with one over the other to me, would be if you had to fly cut or not flycut depending on the heads and cam you have or plan on going with..

Jason,
Could you answer fastvet's question? I wondered the same thing when I saw the graph :-) Thanks & keep up the good work!!!

"Jason, your graph shows PRC 215cc heads and PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L heads. I thought the 5.3L heads were the 215's. Or was that the comparison between the stage 1 5.3's vs. the stage 2.5 5.3's. Just wondering, cuz Im a little confused if that was what the graph was about or if it was about the LS6 heads vs. the 5.3L heads?"

The PRC 215cc heads are the aftermarket PRC castings. They are not 5.3L heads.

TSP 5.3L are 220cc. The PRC aftermarket casting continues to impress me. I can't wait until they take preorders!
