Default Split duration cam pushrod length

Wondering if when running a split duration/lift cam (224/228 .581 .588) if I should expect to see two different lengths for my intake and exhaust pushrods?

You shouldn't, but if you want to check early, measure the base circle of the cam. This shouldn't be the case if the lobes are from the same series.

I wish I but its installed. So intake and exhaust should be the same even on a split duration cam to attain zero lash? Seems strange to me but I guess well see when they are measured.

You measure your preload/lash on the base cricle of the cam, so the duration, lift, LSA, or anything but the base circle (as far as the cam is concerned) will NOT effect the pushrod length.
