I was wondering on opinions about motor oil. I run AMSOIL but i was wondering what everyone else is running.

Geeeeze not another "what kind of oil do I run" post...if ya hit the search you will find dozens of them each containing hundres of opinions .. Run what ever oil you are comfortable with...trust me you will get a gazillion opinions on this topic..I have 171,000+ miles on a head/cam bolt on engine (452 rwhp) with a stock rotating assembly that uses 1/2 quart of oil between 5,000 mile oil changes...but I refuse to offer up a recomemdation to continue the life of this thread...
