Review: Crane Valve Spring Compresor Tool Review of Crane valve spring compressor tool. Its very simple to use. Just bolt it onto the two rocker bolt holes, and snug the bolts. Then tighten the nut between the springs. It's nearly effortless. Place the locks in place, then unscrew the nut. Done. It took me all of 30 minutes to do all 16 springs, completely taking my time.
