Hmm, that's not bad. I could go quite a bit bigger with those springs. I should probably stick to the XE-R lobes or smaller though, right? Most guys seem to run the Xtreme duals with the XFI or LSK lobes.

I guarantee you (or your buddy) is going to wish they went with a tad larger cam in that 6.0 .

Im in the process of doing a cam in my LQ4 as we speak. Im piecing together the parts right now. No way, no how, I would run a 224 in the 6.0 . It is up to you guys obviously, and your wallets. But it seems like a waste of time to put a small cam in that 6.0, depending on what you want out of it. Im looking at the MS3, or a custom grind in that range. But with full exhaust and worked 5.3 heads, I think I am able to get away with it. Good luck with your build.

I'm thinking the same thing. I went too conservative with the Gen1 383 that;s in there now and I don't want to do that again.

I'm going to go with the 918s and something like a G5X2 or similar. The car has a TH350 with a ~3500 stall so it doesn't need the low end bias of some of the smaller cams.

The car is my wife's, that's why I'm in charge of the build
