Problem with yella terra install - 911 Help!
I have a '98 TA and I am on the last of the stages of my cam swap and heads install. The cam is an MTI X-1 Cam, And I have MMS stage II heads. The heads are milled .030, and I have 7.35 pushrods. I have installed the yella terra 1.7 rocker arms and it looks like they are hitting the valvecovers. Did I do anything wrong? Or with my combo am I going to have to get differant valvecovers.
Thanks
Scott

one of your problems is the dyno sucking drivetrain; big stall, gears, and a 12 bolt.

The .591 intake lift may be part of your problem. I know the 1.7s work fine on a ZO6. Pull the fuel pump fuse and crank it over just holding the valve covers by hand. You should feel and then see where they are hitting. Its best to grind clearance on the covers, but some have have ground clearance on the rockers themselves.
