Default Which Cam

Hey Guys,

I recently picked up a tsp combo, ls6 stage 1 heads milled to 59cc and a custom grind 224/228 .590/.595 113+1 cam. Right now in my 98 transam I have stock heads, ls6 intake, ps lt, magna flow catback and a 228/232 .588/.575 LSA 113 MTI G1 cam. Before the ls6 intake it made 376 rwhp. I am wondering if I should just leave the G1 in there or switch out for the custom grind or get another grind. I'm not worried about driveability just looking to make the most power under the curve. Any info is appreciated.

If I had to choose between the two I would leave the one you have in the car in there. Not because it's bigger but because it's a little closer to what would be right.

I guess the one thing I need to check on is how my dcr will be different. Tsp says with the custom grind ill be at 11.4 static and 8.8 dcr. Which means I'm at the limit of pump gas and that thing should be making good amount of torque. Not sure about PTV clearance with the MTI G1 cam though, anyone?
