Hey everyone,
I've been working on getting my 02 C5 to fly and need some help with all the research i've been doing on this.
After looking at Patriot and PRC heads and to make a long story short, i think I'm in love with the Total Engine Airflow 5.3L stage 1.5 ported heads. And i was planning on using a Speed Inc S15 cam 231/237 .589/.595 112 lsa and i've seen this setup in person and it works really really well but now that Tick has come out with the Polluter cam 24?/24? .61?/.61? 112 and i've been wondering about it with these same heads?
By the way this is a 3.42/6 speed car and i will be using a max of 150hp N20 shot once in a while. What do you guys think?
Thanks for the help.

I think they're both too big for street. Cam in the Low to mid 220's, .570" ish lift w/ a 112-114 LSA & a 3.73 or 3.93 rear end ought to be very well behaved while providing good low end torque & power w/ those heads & IMHO.

Are you asking for advice or is this a poll? There are many other options out there.
If you are in love, you might get your heart broken if you really get advice. You should probably go with your heart.

Looks like you better add fly-cutting tools to you list of stuff as well. I just installed AFR's and a much smaller cam in my C5 (AFR 6016) cam and although not tuned yet, it is going to be a ball for street driving.
Oh by the way, with my smaller cam I barely made PTV so make sure you plan on degreeing the cam and measuring PTV, don't go by what others tell you including vendors. You must measure.

well i'm not "in love" but i'm just going off of flow specs and reviews, but i can be easily persuaded lol
And yes, i'm all for advice since this is all just research that i've done per reviews and websites i've found.....cost is a factor otherwise i'd just go with TFS 215cc and be done with it all lol.
This might be a dumb comment but a S15 cam is pretty small compared to the Polluter or other cams (Magic stick, Torquer etc) isn't it?
This car is mainly a "fun car" thats drove on the weekends around and lots of time at our local dragstrip so "drivability" isn't really a concern since its a stick
