Sorry to hear about all the trouble you have been having lately. Good luck with the insurance and glad that no one was seriously injured. What did the driver of the crown vic have to say, was he not paying attention??

sorry about the car....

a friend of mine built a 5 liter ford engine a few years back had edelbrock heads...once the engine was installed the car was burning large amounts of oil...2 quarts in 80 mile....it turned out the machinist that reworked the heads used the wrong valve seals on the heads...the correct seals were put on after a complete engine tear down....the engine was reasembled with the correct seals and the oil burning stopped....

there is a ton of ignorance and inexperience in this thread.....Im amased that some people dont even know how gravity works....

also ive had engines with excessive blow by and with 2 valve cover breathers on his car if blow by was the case that engine bay would be covered in oil......

lol I was working on a customers truck Long ago and he had a hose running from his valve cover to an oil jug...I said what is that...he said my blo by jug...."when i stop to fill up with gas I pour the quart of oil back in....

He didn't say much. He was pretty shaken up by the crash. He didn't get out of the car until EMS arrived.

Dammit this was like a good book, ignorance, confrontations, entertaining, lots of info for any smoking issues..........only this book had a really messed up ending with no resolve to the problem!!

Sorry about your car man. All that time and work gone in a matter of minutes. You plan on going with another fbody?

Ah bugger like you read every post only to find at post 144 someone tore out the last few pages of the book .....

It's a real shame about the pontiac for the OP though.
