Re: Setting up 977 springs.... Ok.....I'll answer my own question....
To setup 977's for large XER cams you need the following....
Option 1)
.070 longer valves
Option 2)
Patriot Performance custom retainers
and hardened shim(.010 - .040)
Option 3)
Manley 5/16" beadlock keepers
and hardened shim(.010 - .040)
So far these are the only setups that will yeild the right install height(1.850).
