startup car= no oil pressure
I went out today and started the car it's a 00 ss and it was about 55 deg outside... moved it a little looked down and had no oil pressure... shut it down immediately checked the oil and it was full... so i went and started the car back up and held the idle at about 1500rpm... all of a sudden the pressure shot back up any ideas of what would make it not read for 2 min?

Tuff to diagnose with out more investigation. Need to hook a manual oil pressure Gauge and verify No pressure....
These have been also know to have wiring issues. My bosses 00 vette went through 2 senors almost right away and we also found various shorts in the wireing from the ECU to the Sensor. On the third time with the wireing we Just clipped the wires at the ECU and installed new wires from there to the plug. It was the only way we could eliminate short issue. I replace a few inches here and there on the first 2 trys and it was still having issues. After 2 attempts on the wiring and replacing the oil pressure sensor twice. I was really sick of trying to fix it...
