Default Misfiring ls1

about a month ago I posted about trouble with car not running right, and the problem is that it's misfiring. It hasn't thrown SES, but is noticable missing form about 1700 -4500 rpm., after 4500rpm its just hard to say. But I definitely is missing. Could this be my computer? or maybe a coil pack?

Yes, total lift (ie .574 intake) is achieved with 1.85 rockers. If that matters.

thats probably where you problem is! get that thing tuned man and it should be a whole new car even if the cam isnt that big of a duration! but try changing the plugs and wires first!

Plugs have only about 1000km on them, while the wires have about 7000km, the car has run fine with the set up, but over the last 400-500km's this misfire has evolved from barley noticable to absolute **** and getting worse....but still hasn't thrown a code.

TUNE IT not to mention the fact that your running lean i'd say running your car like that for long is asking for trouble

I know nothing when it comes to tuning...so I'll be sending the pcm to up tunes later this winter.

Just a question here, and i green in this area, but why would it be running lean?

This is a no brainer. A tune will keep you from gambling with your motor.

Lean is mean and your machine will blow up in steam...

You might want to re-check the wires. When i was at the track one night my car started having mild backfiring/misfiring issues and as the week progressed it got worse and worse. I scanned the forums for any answers and finally someone told me to recheck my wires which i thought i had originally done and sure enough.. passenger side 8th boot had come loose, plugged that bitch in and it was good as new.

Wires are fine, anyone think it could be a coil or 2.

dude it's the tune the car doesn't know how to run with that cam in there, not to mention you throwing the lt's in there it's the air fuel ratio giving you a misfire... you know when your car wants to die and then it comes back after sounding like it was bogged out that's what set off my misfires... tune it and tune it fast especially if your beating on it that motor will detonate... = not good... perhaps you should get a tune near you if that's possible... mail order tunes aren't always the best... seriously though bolt ons+cam+lt's+stock tune=engine trouble
