I'd be thinking something like 228/228. I like the smaller cams but you could go a little bigger like the others mention.

They are both a custom grind from thunder racing. I want something big but small enough for driving. Is the 230/234 a reverse lift cam?

Here is a bit more info on whats being done: Ls6 heads, 11 angle valve grind, othe misc. Head work, ls6 intake / tb, ls7 lifters, ls6 oil pump, double roller timing chain, kooks lt headers 1-3/4.
I want a good cam for this set up. I also want a decent "lope" if possible and still be able to drive it around without too many issues. It will be getting a good dyno/tune also to get it all right.
Cams are my weakness when it come to knowledge

I agree with all the posts. Both those cams don't look too good at first glance. I'd talk to someone who knows more about cam selection and custom grinds. Personally, on a stock bottom end, I'd avoid going over mid 230's. 228R or a custom 232/234 if you want bigger...IMO

Take it from someone who's been there and done that, don't put a reverse split cam in it.

I'd go with something like a 228/230 or 230/232 from Futral Motorsports or check out the torquer 2.

I'm pretty bias..... I only deal with thunder racing, i've been treated like **** at futral. I'll probably call and talk to shane @ thunder it.
