possible cam swap
i currently have a futral f10 cam 228/228 .576/.576 and have recently installed some stage 2 patriot heads milled to 59cc. i was wondering if anyone knows what size cam i could upgrade to without flycutting the pistons. The car runs good, i have recently run a 11.90 with a subpar 1.75 60 ft and the tune not quite down after switching gears to 3.90's so i was shifting in 4th before the traps. The car was recently dynoed and only put down 376 hp, so i was hoping to get a little more power out the car with a different cam. Also how much more power do you think i can get out of it with the cam swap, i know it will never be a dyno queen being an A4 with a 4000 stall, but i thought it would do a little better than it did on the dyno. The car trapped right at 114 mph.

i live off Bagdad Rd next to leander high school.I have not heard of that cam, i want to know of a larger cam than i have that someone has had success with running milled 59cc heads. i am sure i am leaving something on the table running the cam i currently have.I need to put a ported fast 90 setup on the car but dont have the $1200 laying around right now.

Maybe you should go towards a custom cam from the bug cam gurus on here. I do think there is a bigger version of that cam i put. And that was a good deal you got with those heads and the increase in power

You should work on your suspension. 1.75 60' is not good. with 59cc heads, you are pretty much borderline on cam size without flycutting. Your trap speed is low.
Maybe your motor is not as healthy as you think.
Have you done a compression check lately?

suspension wise i have subframes, torque arm, lca relocation brackets, lower control arms, bilstein shocks, upgraded sway bars, line lock, adjustable panhard rod. i have cut a 1.62 before in this car, but that was before the heads and my first pass at the track with this car so i let off after the 1/8th. Maybe a compression check is in store.
