Default Any updates on the Eastside Performance Cams yet?

I am really antsy to see the track results on that cam only setup that made 430, also curious to see dyno numbers and track results on your other cams and this cam in other setups!!! I would also like to see results with stage 2 heads on the cars too! I want to get a cam within the month, but I want to see results on these new cams first, before I buy anything! I wanna make sure I do it right the first time! I hope you get some results soon, cuz i'm shootin to have a cam and have it in before the end of March, and then start savin for heads and a 12-bolt Keep everyone informed guys!

Stage 2 LS1 head's are going on tomorrow. As far as track time's, the snow we have been getting lately has put a damper on thing's. When the weather break's we will keep you all informed. Thank's for your interest's.

And your adding heads to that cam, or a diff one? I'm just curious if this cam is a cam only wouldn't do much w/ heads, and they make a diff one for heads to make power, or if it'll be the same cam and do good both on stock and stage 2 heads? Hope the way I worded that wasn't too confusing

rambirds car is the test car that made the 430rwhp and he and Ken are going to get the heads on tomorrow to see what that cam makes with LS1 ported heads
then Ken is going on vacation for a week and then that cam is going in my car basically the same set up except w/3.73s and SLP longtubes and y-pipe which is test car#2
and all results will be posted and i will be at the track when we have good weather

Yes I'm the 431 cam car. Eastside will update the new result's and new combination's.(if any) They feel pretty confident that the head will excite that camshaft. Time will tell

The heads and cam is nice and all, but dont forget there are alot of people still interested in cam only results.

I would like to see this cam in other stock head cars and see track results on stock heads.

Keep us posted.

That will be the Chef, Although our exhaust system's are quite different. Should be interesting to see exactly how important a good exhaust system is.

Cool deal guys. I too would also like to see what just the cam only could do on a bolt-on car with stock flywheel and driveshaft, cuz it will be only cam in my car for a while, while i'm savin for the 12-bolt, heads, and tnt kit! Chef, does your car have stock flywheel and stock driveshaft? Also, i'm glad that you have 3.73's cuz i'm curious to see what it pulls with better gears. I also wish you guys were putting it in a car with a 12-bolt and 4.10's, i'm curious to see the numbers and times it would pull in that setup, cuz that is most likely the setup I will have, either that or 3.73's in the 12-bolt, still a little undecided. Rambird, keep us all informed on the numbers you get after you put those heads on man, i'm hopin they'll be pretty nice!!!

ls1--i have the stock driveshaft and the flywheel is the one that comes with the spec stage 3 right out of the box i did not have it lightened

i am going to add a ported tb and maf in the next week so i can be closer to what his car has and cus it is the last of the boltons i am missing
and they will be done by the same guy that did his to make it as equal as possible

SNOW, what is that?? haha. I'm in the same situation as Loudmouth. I will be buying a cam around mid march and its not like there aren't 500 other cams out there to chose from, but I have to see them all

I talked briefly to the guys at EastSide when I ordered my clutch last week and they said it would be a few more weeks before they let the secret out.

The cam will also be put in my car. First we are gonna try it through stock manifolds and see what it does. Then we are gonna try it with the MAC headers I have sitting in the corner. Hopefully this will give us some more info. Hey Chef, you didn't think I was gonna sit back and let you have all the fun did ya? LOL I think it will be good to get comparisons of bill vs chef(slp) vs my(manifold or MAC) exhaust to see wht sort of difference there really is.

I'll have the Jet-Hot longtubes by then, and maybe we'll get a dyno run with the Bassani Mid's before they come off. So, this will be some good data for the most popular exhaust and head configurations for the new ESP-1 camshaft.

Kudo's to Eastside Performance for the amount of testing/ R&D on this new camshaft, camshaft/heads and various exhaust scenarios!
