vindicator & lq9
I was wanting some feed back on what you guys think about this combo. I can pick up a low mile lq9. I was going to put my ported 243 heads with a vindicator cam and possibly the new edlebrock intake. My heads are not milled should I mill them? If some how much with what gasket. would the gain be worth the extra weight? I have a 00 ss with 3.89 gears and a 9in.

Vindicator is 240/244 .605/.596 112 LSA
So it would be a nice cam for 6.0. No no mill unless you want to flycut. Stock gasket. Still recommend to check PTVC.
If flycut is necessary anyways, then yes to mill and .040 gasket (what I'm suspicious is what size and kind of valves on your 243s)

They are stock size valves, also if I get them milled & valve jobbed i would gain ptv with the valve job correct? the free drop should stay the same on the valve.
