Default Installing LS6 oil pump in my LS1 today, any prep necessary?

Like title states, I'm installing an LS6 oil pump in my LS1 today (along with a cam...), do i need to prep it at all before install?

While the oil pump is off you might as well throw a new chain on also...thats about it. What cam and spring are you going with?

Yeah i have a new chain actually. Dual patriot springs & custom Dallas Performance cam. 230/240 612/612 113 i think?!? The paperwork is at home, and I'm about to slide the new cam into the block!
