Default H/c help

Will the ms3 and 243 heads be a good combo? Also will the compression be higher than the stock 10.1 that you get out of the 853 heads?

Are you looking at running at factory set of 243's or have them had any CNC work, valve upgrade, milling, etc.? If you are asking are the 243's a better choice for that cam over a factory 853 head then the answer is yes. The 243 is a better flowing head with a smaller combustion chamber which will bump your compression up to about 10.5:1.

That being said, do you already have the heads? It is possible to get you into a set of PRC 2.5 5.3L heads that will work great with that cam for a little more money depending on what you are paying for the 243's. Shoot me a PM with the details on your build and I will see what we can do to possibly get you better heads for your build or maybe work on the 243 heads you are looking at. Let me know if we can help!
