they came on the LS2 GTO's. Yes they are just as good as far as the head casting but they don't come with the lightweight valves

799 are equivalent of 243, no major diff. except that the chamber is supposed to be "rougher" i have seen no such diff. in the chamber
all 243 heads come with the conventional steel valves,only 243 equipped on 02-04 z06 corvette and some of the cts-v came with lightweight valves.
no ls2 or any other vehicle equipped with 243 cathedral port has come equipped with lightweight valves since.
