Smile 5 Bent Cromemoly pushrods

I had a bad ticking going on inside my motor, figuring that it was a lifter issue,so after pulling the heads & Replacing the Lifters i decided to pull the pushrods & Roll them across the table ,to my suprise 5 of them were bent ,a couple of them were pretty bad ,the heads i run are the 5.7 ltr stg 2 patriot head & have never been milled & The Shop manual for the C5 Shows to tq the roller rockers to 22 to 24ish ftlbs of tq, these are nonadjustable stock rockers, the Pushrods that were bent are the 4360 hardend rod 7.400 stock length,i came up with either the rockers were too tight or they were over revved 6,500 rpm is the highest this 346 has seen ,anybody have an opinon on what else may be the reason for 5 bent pushrods ,the others were fine,i appreciate any input on this ,thank you

Are all 5 intake or all 5 exhaust valve pushrods or is it a mix, 2 from one & 3 from the other?
