Suppose 2 G5X2 camshafts, one on a 112 LSA, one on a 114 LSA. What will the differences be?

1) Idle? How much smoother will the 114 LSA idle, I mean its still an awfully big cam trying to idle.

2) Powerband will be raised, right? By how much, 100 RPM? 200 RPM? 300 RPM?

3)Will either LSA affect P to V clearance? I.E. Will a 114 LSA cam have more or less P to V clearance than a cam of the same specs, just with 112 LSA?

4) What am I overlooking? Does LSA affect anything else?

When I ordered my custom cam from Thunder Racing (great place) I asked them that and was told that it will make it idle a tad better with a higher LSA and your peak TQ will be a tad different.

Give them a call and I'm sure they will fill you in!!!
