If you have a TSP 228r cam, I want your opinion

I've been running this cam for about 6 months now, really pleased with it and still returns reasonable fuel consumption too.
The engines in these cars were a factory mafless tune.[they were Callaway built].
I've got a twin 3" cat back with no cats with std factory headers, factory 4" intake pipe and pod filter.Trans is M6 with factory 3.9 gears.

You will still be pleased with it
you could go slightly bigger if you wanted as well...id talk to Texas Speed and tell them your goals and what you are looking for in a cam and they should def be able to advise you and or do a custom grind

I've had my 228r 112 LSA installed for about 2 months on a weekend warrior and it's a nice cam. It would make a nice daily driver, even on the 112 LSA. In hind sight, I wish I had gotten a cam with a little more overlap which would lope harder.
I also went with the 7.425 pushrods and my valvetrain is as quite as it was stock. The base circle on the 228r is a decent amount smaller then stock. The average base circle radius on my 228r was 0.042 on the intake lobes and 0.053 on the exhaust lobes. Since the stock pushrod length was 7.394, my ideal pushrod length would've been 7.436 for the intake and 7.446 for the exhaust (I'm on stock heads) so that 7.425 pushrod are as good as I'm going to get.

Since the last dyno where I put down 425 RWHP and 400 RWTQ on a poor tune, I took a deep dive into learning how to tune and added a FAST 90/90.
I recently dyno tuned my car and put down the below numbers. I gain of 26RWHP and 31 RWTQ. The power is there in the LSx motors.
Click on the below link for the idle. If I remember correctly, My idle is about 825. You can make the car have more of a shake and rumble but adjusting several idle tables and lose no drivablity. Adjust the idle adaptive spark control in the oversteer and understeer for a big cam sound out of a little cam.

I ran a best of 12.60 at 110 with the 228R, magnaflow cat-back, longtubes, stock heads, stock gears, an a TCI 2500 stall, and it worked great for me, and my budget at the time.

For a while I was set on the 228R since my Z28 is my daily driver. But after doing more research, and watching every video of it on youtube, I have now decided on the Torquer V2. I mean it just sounds so nasty. From what I've heard driveability is fine and it puts down a **** ton of power without sacrificing much low end. I didn't want to pick a smaller cam and then regret not going bigger later, which I know would happen to me. I used to think my car was so fast when I got the headers/y-pipe, now I'm bored with it lol.
Idk who's car this is but it's SICK, has the same exhaust I do so I'm hoping that's what my car will sound like![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
