Does anyone have any info on this pump-I just saw it in the 08 catalogue? Any feedback-I'd like to get a Melling but I don't want to mess around with any grinding with my double roller.

Yep, I put one in last December during my cam/head swap. Don't be fooled, this is just a plain old LS6 pump. I don't know why GM feels they have to embellish about this oil pump.

I ported, cryo treated, and Mikronted it and have had no issues with it.

what exactly is mikronted ? I Googled it and didn’t find anything.

I have used 300 Below for all my cryo treating for 20 years. They do awesome work.
I had the Mikronite treatment done by Crane Cams soon after Mikronite acquired them. Crane has been out of business for some time. Last I saw, Mikronite continued on their own but I have not used them since this project.
