Uses the same gasket. Weather or not to replace it depends on the condition.

LSx gaskets are meant to be replaced after they have been torqued down and loosened. So IMO grab a new gasket and dont worry about it later.

Actually most of them are meant to be reusable.. all depends on the condition though. Might as well replace it while its off.

hmm i just know that most of those gaskets are the ones you embed into the valve cover for example well i looked under the valley cover and there is no line where you can push the gasket and i think there isnt one of the block either.. if i make sense..

Keep in mind, to put an LS6 valley cover on an LS1 engine you will need to do some grinding. There is a tab or "boss" in the valley that has to be ground down about 1 inch deep, by 1/2 inch depth.

It's worth it however. You can completely delete the POS pcv system.

Haha you beat me to it. There is a gasket to use. I got one with my LS6 valley cover and I got one with my gasket kit.
