I live in a town with out much LS support so i have to hate on some SBC guys from time to time. Anyways was JFWY. Now someone needs to destroke an LS till it revs like a gixxer.

think about a ferrari v8 it is 4308 cc wuth a 81mm stroke (i dont know how to convert that) and a sbc 350 is 5735 cc so it is much smaller and it revs to about 9k makes 490 hp, now i know this is two totally different engines just showing that a small ci/stroke v8 can rev hi and make good power

how do you guys think ford has always made power...hell they have made short stroked engines forever...my 10 year old cobra doesnt hit fuel cot till 7200....ive seen several lightly built 5liters turn 7500+ on stock rotating assemblies....

302ci ls1's are done quite often for road racers. they rev quick and high..but for a street app or drag app...go with a traditional stroker
