Default What cam with 1.8 rockers?

I am considering a cam swap for next season, and I have a question. I tried to do a search, but couldnt find anything helpful. Right now I have a set of YT 1.8 roller rockers, a set of patriot gold dual valvesprings rated for up to .650 lift, and patriot 7.4" hardened pushrods. Given the 1.8 rocker ratio, what are my options for lobe profiles? I know I should avoid an xe-r cam, but what about an xr? Does duration or lsa have any bearing on this issue, or do I just need to stay under .650" with the 1.8 ratio figured in? Are there certain manufacturers whose cams are more tolerant of a 1.8 ratio? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IMO, it would be best to select a cam to match your heads and driving goals, rather than matching a cam to a rocker arm.

Most cams are designed to run best at stock configuration, 1.7 rocker arms...of course special grounds can be custom ordered.

i agree with michael its always better to go with a custom cam but if your not comfortable off the shelf cam are alright.
