info on which to build 370 or 408
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd think the bigger bore + longer stroke (408cid) would rev slower than the shorter stroke (370cid)...
Also, someone mentioned if your not going FI, go smaller cid...I'd think it would be the other way around. If you don't want FI, go bigger cid.
Sounds like your leaning towards the 370cid, either way good luck. Personally, I'd go bigger cid, as you can tell by my sig.

& if i am gonna add a blower or turbo on the car I would opt for the 370 ,ask a machinist about longer strokes & shorter strokes in theroy with fi & lets see what he says about it.I have ate crow before Doesnt taste well ,doubt i am eating crow on this ,heh Last edited by zo6 vett; Feb 7, 2009 at 07:38 PM.
