Default help me pic a cam!! vindicator or ms4

hey guys,, putting a set 0f 5.3s on mill 2 58cc with .040 gasket. i cant make up my mind on which cam 2 put in, i have the ms4 but 4 some reason i wont to put the vindicator in the car, i guess i wont the one that makes the most hp and tq

do yall think i should use 7.4 or 7.35 pushrod?

let me c some info

going through the same problem...but i think the piston to valve clearance is already really close, so with the milled head your just getting closer... whats the factory head gasket thickness?

i thought i remember seeing a thread saying to use 7.25 push rod...

You fly cut yet? There is no way those cams will fit a milled head like that, with that gasket. I'm assuming you mean .040 gasket right?

for sure will need flycutting. but i made my numbers with stock ls6 long block cam only with the vindicator and i really like the cam. And the 58cc will really add some Torque with this cam

I know you need 7.4 for a MS4 cam...7.25 could be too short.

get a custom tailored cam
would be your best bet

You will need to measure for PR length but i bet it will for be shorter than 7.4 cause you are milled so much.

I would get somebody to spec you a custom cam BTW.
